Pro Tools|HDX – With up to 5 times more power, HDX is the natural progression for the Professional audio market. We’ve seen many people simply run out of power on HD3 systems due to the size of projects. Before, the only choice was to use an expansion chassis, but now with Pro Tools|HDX, the power is right at your fingertips. Not only do the cards enable 4 x more tracks than previously achievable, but each card can now handle up to 64 i/o. The new system also provides 4 x more Automatic Delay Compensation for those plug-in laden sessions.
Pro Tools 10 is a giant stepping-stone for audio professionals and musicians alike. Incorporation of clip-based automation and multi-channel audio files has answered the prayers of many a user and utilising new 32bit floating point option, up to 1000dB more headroom can be achieved. With a new design and array of plug-ins, the workflow is dramatically sped up with disk caching and can now use network and slower USB drives for working sessions. These are just a few of the plethora of new features and improvements in Pro Tools 10.

COPYROOM ADDS VIDEO FORMATS
The FX Copyroom’s tape baking and format transfer has now been extended to cover video and film formats.
Richard Whittaker from the Copyroom states, “Having identified, and formulated a solution to the problem of audio tape degradation, it is a natural step for us to extend this service to the video and film industries. We are now able to restore and transfer tapes to and from a wide range of video formats including the popular 1”C and 1"B video formats."
