Dolby DP571 Dolby E Encoder

£150.00 per day before customer discount

Dolby E has been designed for use during multi-channel production for broadcast. Dolby E audio can withstand 10 or more encode / decode processes without audio degradation. The eight channel format allows a wide configuration of signals to be encoded into a two-channel bitstream, e.g., 6 channels of 5.1 audio and a stereo mix, or four stereo mixes. A metadata input is also provided, controlling aspects of audio reproduction for each user’s particular set-up.

- Digital I/O on BNCs
- SMPTE and reference video inputs via BNC connectors
- 48kHz sampling rates
- Dolby E audio coding algorithm
- User-selectable program configurations
- 29.97 frames/sec (NTSC) and 25 frames/sec (PAL) video frame rate
