FX Live Events Launched

In response to a continual increase in market demand to record live performances, FX Rentals has created the FX Live Events division.

FX Chairman Roger Evan says, “While FX has long been handling this sort of work, improvements in portable technology has enabled gigs to be recorded cost-effectively without the need for a large mobile truck. And by providing experienced recording engineers and recording packages which are tailored to individual requirements, we really can supply a bundle that suits the event, the venue and the pocket!”

“Recent notable recordings have been Kate Nash, Ian Brown, Funeral for a Friend and Terry Hall and as we’re a rental company we can also offer a dry-hire facility. If you’re confident with you engineering abilities, you collect or we deliver the equipment and you handle the recording yourself. Hard Fi, The Ceiling and The Dead 60’s have recently taken up that option with us.”
