FX Supports Global Battle of the Bands Challenge 2008

From 16 countries in 2004 to 30 countries in 2007, GBOB – the world’s biggest live talent competition for pop and rock bands – is getting bigger and better all the time.

Forget about artificial Pop Idol-style competitions and all the other glorified karaoke rubbish out there, this is the real deal for real bands playing real music – live. There are just two rules: no cover versions and no pre-recorded music. And there’s a massive prize of $100,000 and worldwide promotion for the winners!

FX Rentals has secured a partnership with GBOB 2008 to provide backline and PA equipment for all the UK region heats and the England final at The Jam House in Birmingham on 26th October.

FX RENTALS GETS BEHIND SUB.TV

FX has recently leant its support to Sub.tv, the interactive entertainment channel that has created a unique connection with 18-24 year olds and is an integral part of today’s youth culture.

Sub.tv connects with students throughout the day through its screens, website, mobile messaging and events, allowing students to interact and broadcast music, sport and other entertainment content across university campuses.

The interactive channel began broadcasting in Students’ Unions in 2003 and now reaches 1.8 million students weekly.
