COPYROOM EXPANSION & RATE REDUCTION!

FX Copyroom has announced a recent expansion in their facility in West London, focusing on Tape Archive processing.

“We’ve seen a considerable increase in the amount of work on back catalog recordings from Record Companies, Artists and Management alike.” comments Adam Brown from FX Copyroom. “To meet these demands, we’ve expanded our facility with a new transfer suite and dedicated machine rooms which allow us to be more efficient on multi-format tape archive work. And due to this increased volume we’ve reviewed and lowered the rates for archive work!”

The FX Copyroom has tape machines installed, both Analog and Digital, which can handle older tapes from the early days of 1/4” tape through to the digital multi-track formats of the 1980s. Also available are 24 hour baking facilities to process tape which has suffered ‘sticky tape syndrome’, a time related degradation that can render tapes unplayable.
